Class 1 : Beginning at the Beginning
In this class, we define somatic meditation and somatic experience. We begin to distinguish the difference between a right-brained experience and a left-brained experience. And we differentiate awareness or mindfulness of the body from inhabiting the body. We also distinguish a horizontal path from a vertical path. This course is a vertical one.

Class 2 : Back to Square One
The focus of this talk is the relationship between the physical breath and what we imagine when we do the bodywork and “bring the breath” into various parts of the body. We will learn the three different dimensions of the breath: the outer, the inner, and the secret breath.

A MEDITATIVE EMBODIMENT STUDY, PRACTICE, AND SOMATIC EXPERIENCE
FINDING REALIZATION in the BODY
Finding Realization in the Body
A MEDITATIVE EMBODIMENT STUDY, PRACTICE, AND SOMATIC EXPERIENCE
—A 10 Class Course
Embodiment can often be hard to access. For starters, we live in a very disembodied culture where many of us live in our heads. We often don’t pay attention to the signs and signals of our body until it is too late and chronic pain, stress, overwhelm, and dis-ease have set in. Our body is the seat of our intuition and our direct perception of reality. Practicing meditation that is grounded in our body is the most direct and powerful path to profound spiritual transformation. Through somatic meditation, we connect with the inherent wakefulness and relaxation already present within our body and learn to live our lives from that place.
In Finding Realization In the Body, we are working on two major things:
1. To learn to relax
2. To let go of our left ego brain and open back up to a right-brained experience of life.
When we accomplish these two primary things, we can regain a sense of safety within ourselves. It is hard to feel unsafe and relaxed or to relax and feel unsafe. It is hard to open widely to our lives and stay tense and constricted. So when these two things come together, relaxation + opening up to our right brain, we reinstate our confidence, and relative safety is felt. We have confidence that we can handle our lives, and we can handle what is hard and know we are okay. This stability is anti-fragile. It is strong and soft at the same time, so it won’t bend and break with the fierce currents of our lives.
You will learn ten unique somatic meditation practices to connect with the interior experience of our human life, release unconscious holding and tension, learn the basics of quantum mechanics and how healing occurs in the quantum space, and connect with the joy and freedom at the core of your being.
In this course, we will blend Realization Process Embodiment attunement exercises, nondual meditation, and trauma-informed somatic meditation from ancient Tibetan practices. We will incorporate gentle movement, standing, sitting, and lying down practices to cultivate ease and fluidity within body-mind-spirit.
This immersive online course is an introduction to the somatic process of meditation. Drawing from centuries-old techniques of nonduality traditions, FRITB is a system of contemplative exercises designed to strengthen and sustain embodiment that improves empathic accuracy and enhances wellbeing. Somatic exercises are used to progressively foster embodiment and release emotional wounds and trauma-based constrictions through the body. The fundamental premise is that embodiment is a trait that can be developed and expanded which helps cultivate resiliency, maturity, and confidence to help you feel more connected to self and others. This may be an ideal addition to frontline healthcare workers, educators, caregivers, parents, and leaders to help buffer the deleterious effects of burnout, overwhelm and fatigue; however, all are welcome.
FRITB practices are conducive to the embodied realization of our common humanity and our shared aspirations for wellbeing and the motivation to alleviate suffering. This program draws from the deep wisdom of nonduality designed to bring about transformation that is supported by contemporary science as well as by most spiritual traditions and is supportive of any faith or belief system.

TESTIMONIALS:
“FRITB is hands down one of the best courses I’ve ever taken. Each of the practices has opened up a depth of understanding and insight of my body and how it holds tension and stress. There is a whole story there that I had not previously been able to access. Jen’s teaching style is clear and direct and her deep understanding of meditation, psychology and neuroscience adds a level of depth that enhances the experience. Her warmth and presence create a safe container for exploration. I would highly recommend taking this course.”—successful businesswoman
“Jen was incredibly helpful, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I have a fairly strong background in meditation/mindfulness and was not sure how much new information I would learn. I was greatly surprised by how much I received and how well I was taught to implement it in my daily life. My experience was personally and professionally beneficial and well-timed. Jen is obviously well versed in her subject.”—seasoned practitioner
“As a yoga instructor, I thought I was fairly or even strongly connected to my body. What I learned from Jennifer is that I was only aware of my body, but not actually in my body. I wasn’t ‘inhabited’ as she says. I found places that were numb and constricted and full of anxiety. After her embodiment class, I am finally feeling like I am living and present in my body. This has changed everything, and the way I teach yoga now.”—successful businesswoman/yoga instructor
